Privacy Policy
How VisionProCare collects, uses, and protects information in the wholesale ordering portal. Effective September 23, 2026.
Who we are
VisionProCare ("we", "us") operates a wholesale prescription lens laboratory and this online ordering portal for optical businesses and eye-care professionals ("customers"). Contact us at info@visionprocare.com.
Information we collect
- Account information you or your administrator provide: company name, contact names, email addresses, phone numbers, billing and shipping addresses, and portal usernames.
- Order information needed to manufacture lenses: prescription values, frame measurements, lens and coating selections, and any patient name or reference you choose to enter.
- Billing information: invoices, statements, payment records, and notes about the payment method on file. We do not store full card numbers or bank account numbers in the portal.
- Technical information: sign-in times, pages requested, IP addresses, and browser details collected in server logs to keep the portal secure.
Patient information
Customers decide what patient details to enter. We recommend using an internal job reference rather than a full patient name. Any patient information you enter is used only to produce and track the lens order, is shared with our manufacturing partner only as needed to make the lenses, and is never used for marketing.
How we use information
- To manufacture, track, ship, and support your lens orders.
- To invoice your account, send statements, and record payments.
- To send transactional messages about your orders and account.
- To keep the portal secure, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Website analytics
We use first-party analytics to count public page visits, referral sources and advertising campaign labels, device categories, and wholesale application steps. We do not record form contents, IP addresses, or patient details in analytics. Marketing tracking respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Login outcomes are recorded separately for security. Raw analytics records are retained for up to 90 days and are accessible only to administrators.
Cookies
The portal uses one strictly necessary cookie, vpc.sid. It holds your session so you can stay signed in and so our forms can be protected against cross-site request forgery. The same session also stores the first-party visit information described under Website analytics. The cookie is marked HttpOnly, so scripts on the page cannot read it, and it expires after 24 hours without activity. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics services.
Sharing
We share order specifications with the manufacturing laboratory that produces the lenses and shipping details with carriers. We share information with service providers that host the portal and deliver email on our behalf. We do not sell customer or patient information.
Retention and security
Order and billing records are kept for as long as your account is active and as required for accounting and tax purposes. Data is stored on encrypted infrastructure with access limited to authorized VisionProCare staff. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes.
Your choices
Account administrators can update company and contact information from the portal at any time. To request a copy of your data, correct a record, or close an account, email info@visionprocare.com.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date above.
